We designed and developed an intelligent IoT monitoring system for air-conditioning units in residential and commercial complexes.
The system uses a custom PCB connected to:
• Refrigerant gas pressure sensors
• Current and power-consumption sensors
• Helium LoRaWAN wireless network
• A real-time computer monitoring dashboard
• AI-based fault prediction and data analysis
The device continuously monitors gas pressure and electrical current, then transmits the data wirelessly to the control dashboard.
Using artificial intelligence, the system analyzes equipment performance, detects abnormal behavior, and predicts possible HVAC failures before they cause serious damage or service interruption.
It also calculates electricity consumption and operating costs in real time, helping facility managers reduce maintenance costs, improve energy efficiency, and extend the lifetime of their equipment.
